This commercial renovation in Boroughbridge supported the expansion of a busy dental centre, creating additional treatment rooms, improved staff facilities and better access for patients. The project was designed to support the long-term growth of the practice while maintaining a welcoming, functional environment throughout.

This project involved a full commercial renovation to extend and reconfigure the existing dental centre. The aim was to increase capacity, improve accessibility and modernise both internal and external areas without disrupting day-to-day operations.

Working closely with the client, we delivered a practical, well-planned solution that balanced durability, appearance and long-term usability.

Work Carried Out

The commercial renovation in Boroughbridge included the construction of two new dental suites alongside a multi-functional staff room, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and integrated media facilities suitable for training and team use.

Internally, we created a new open-plan reception and enlarged waiting area to improve flow and provide a more comfortable experience for patients as footfall increases.

Accessibility & External Works

Accessibility was a key focus of the project. A cantilevered structure was installed to create two sheltered disabled parking bays, alongside a new access ramp and wide automatic entrance door to allow smooth, threshold-free access.

Externally, the side extension was built using a steel and timber frame and finished in sleek standing seam aluminium cladding. The front extension was block-built and clad in western red cedar, secret-nailed for a clean, contemporary finish.

To complete the project, we resurfaced the car park to improve access and safety, repaired existing defects and installed new roadside fencing to enhance the overall appearance and functionality of the site.
